Billy Graham In Quotes

Billy Graham In Quotes

By: Franklin Graham and Donna Lee Toney

Billy Graham In Quotes by Franklin Graham and Donna Lee Toney is unfortunately a pretty average quote book. It is not really exceptional for it’s category. But, I confess, quote books are hardly ever exciting. There are some up sides however. It was very well organized I admit as well as the fact that it gives a wealth of information on the thought of the man who is probably the most famous evangelist who’s name isn’t in The Bible. So in this sense the book is a complete triumph. I have to caution though that this is not a sit down and read book. This is strictly a reference book. This is to be expected because quote books never make for good chapter to chapter or section to section reading. It’s best for looking up Billy Graham’s opinion on a topic, taking a quick curiosity glance or, and probably best, devotional reading. So then, my overall opinion is: It is a good book but only in certain contexts (such as devotional reading as stated above) but it can get boring if too much is taken in at one time. I recommend this book for casual to serious Billy Graham fans.
