Be The People: A Call To Reclaim America’s Faith And Promise
By: Carol Swain
Be the people by Carol Swain is overall a good book I would say. It addresses our current political climate as well as an issue by issue breakdown from a right wing conservative perspective (though this is not by any means exhaustive as it deals only with the chief areas of concern for the conservative mind). It is an enjoyable read if you are on the right politically (after all, it was endorsed by Sean Hannity who is one of the leading conservative voices of our day) and interested in political books. One big draw back I would give this book, tough, is that it is by no means unique. You can literally buy dozens, probably even hundreds, of books just like it. Books dealing with the same issues from the same perspectives with the same conclusions. If you haven’t already read any of the many books that are a kind of conservative political synopsis ,or at least a recent one since the political landscape changes so much over the years, then this book is for you. If you don’t like conservative ideas or have read the many similar books then maybe you pass. Still, it’s an enjoyable read either way.
